Yeah, Antonis and I saw Jeff last week in LA...with his handy 2200 in tow.
He told us that the 2200's were all on a boat somewhere between Japan and
here...that was last week.  We had better lighting for viewing...but we
couldn't move the prints...so its hard to say about metamerism. I asked him
why the BW prints he was showing were so crappy (big grin) and he said that
he "hadn't played with the toning yet"...just printed them straight out
(gosh that sound's like BW printing with a six color printer...don't
it...can't make something good that's neutral so I think I will tone it to
try to get rid of the nasty crossovers).  His comments would imply that
perhaps he had the gray balancer software in his package...speculation...
speculation.
