In my limited experience with Epson representatives, I have come to the
conclusion that they are some of the most lame product representatives out
there.  This spring, one of them claimed to not know anything about the 2450
scanner.  If you ask them about something that might be stated in the
product literature, there is a chance you *might* get the right answer out
of them.  If you ask them anything else, it is highly unlikely that you will
get a correct answer out of them.
