I  don't recommend the 1200 for any quad printing. It suffers from what some
call banding, fine lines in the direction of the print head travel. Using
both Piezo and MIS FS inks on my system and then viewing output from other
1200's (people who know how to print quads and keep their printers in proper
working order), plus other user reports, leads me to believe it is just not
a good epson for quads. This is just my opinion and that of friends who
tried piezo on their 1200's.

I would imagine it would depend on the user's expectations.
