Here are a few suggestions that you may find helpful:

- I you would rather have your name instead of a partial email address appear 
as the author of your posts, please read the instructions available in our Files 
section (Files>List-related matters>Your name instead of a partial email 
address on posts ).

- While in that section, you may also want to take a look at  Posting protocols, 
a list of suggestions on the best way to post. The intent is to make searching 
the list for information more efficient by writing accurate thread names, as well 
as to partly "humanize" the limited type-only exchanges by putting a name to 
the message (i.e. not posting anonymously).

- This is also a good time to suggest that you take a little tour of the other 
resources available under Files, Bookmarks, Polls and Database. We (as 
moderators) update these as new info comes our way, and your suggestions 
are always welcome. 

- Finally, many of you - perhaps new to Yahoo - have been annoyed by the 
avalanche of emails you receive when you subscribe to the list . You may not 
realise that there are in fact other options available. Go to My Groups>Edit My 
Groups and choose no emails or digest. You can always come and read the 
messages using your browser.

Thanks for making this a very engaging group to read and participate in. 
And to members from EU and other countries: great to see you here and no  
apologies needed for any grammatical errors. You are not the only ones  for 
whom English is not the native language!
