Lawrence, You know there is one option that does not get discussed much. This the FS-E inks from MIS. These inks can be used with the Epson driver, which will give you deeper blacks than Pizeography right off the bat. A very simple curve in grayscale is used to linearize the image, and viola! I have been using a similar approach using FS inks, by switching ink positions. It is outlined in the FS pages of inkjetgoodies.com (I have no ties of any sort). But, I am sure the FS-E inks are equally capable. Good luck.
