I use the Hannemuhle German Etching 310 (sold as Royal Plush by 
MediaStreet.com) in my 1270 and my 1280. Interestingly, on the 1280 I have 
to help the paper begin feeding by grasping it at the edges and pushing it 
into the feeder. On the 1270, it just feeds automatically. This is true of 
both the 8.5x11 and the 13x19 sizes. Once it feeds, I have never had a problem.
