Re: [Digital BW] Curve for MIS-VM with Hahnemuhle German Etch

2002-08-11 by jamiedrouin

Hi Jerry,

I'm getting a very weak black with midtones that have an almost
solarized appearance. The worst is how the black has a defined 'edge'
where it meets a midtone, kind of like the effect one gets when trying
to make b&w prints on a color printer.

I wanted to try PhotoRag, but no one carries it locally, so gave
Etching a go instead.

Best, Jamie.
