Re: [Digital BW] Re: Printing B&W with a laser printer

2002-08-12 by Pat Thompson

IBM Photo Quality Matte coated (on one side) inkjet 8.5x11 paper (very
inexpensive) that I use to test my inkjet images before proofing 13x19.

I keep a stack on the shelf behind my Epson; and when I borrowed some
plain paper from the laser tray to do the Epson head check, then returned
the unused paper to the laser tray, I also picked up an unknown number of
sheets of the coated paper.

UPDATE: Yesterday I laser-printed postcards (1,000 passes), and toward
the end of the run the squeaking STOPPED! This morning I turned the Minolta
back on, and STILL NO SQUEAK; so hooray!

    But I'm mystified...
