I read somewhere recently that Fred's camera specific SI Pro actions reportedly work on similar size image files, regardless of camera make. That is, the D30 Pro action should work on any 3 megapixel camera, the D60 on 6 megapixel, etc. This seems a little odd to me because the camera specific actions were, according to Fred, developed specifically for the full-size image dimensions of the selected camera. However, Fred's original SI action, which I used extensively before getting an SI Pro version, I believe has been upgraded to a Pro version itself. I can assure you that even the original SI was a hair sharper than Genuine Fractals "rezzing" to the same size. Therefore, I wouldn't hesitate buying the updated SI if one of the camera specific ones won't fit your requirements.

BTW, I've never known Fred to not answer his e-mail. Sometimes, though, it does take a couple of days to get a response. I'm sure he must be away, occasionally, in order to obtain those beautiful images he has of places like Yosemite! If you don't get a response in a few days, resend because maybe your message fell into the "black hole."

Hi All,

I'm really anxious to buy Fred Miranda's SI Pro PhotoShop Action.  I 
sent his customer support an email last Friday inquiring about which 
one would be best given my camera, but they have not answered my 
email yet. 

I'm uncertain which version I should purchase since my Nikcon 
CoolPix5000 is a 5 megapixel camera.   Should I get the one for Canon 
D60 (6 megapixel) or the Canon 1D (4 megapixel)? Or would the Nikon 
D1x be best?

Can anyone give me some advice on which version would probably be 
best for me to use?
