Jerry,
Qimage pro has it's own yahoo forum, it seems very well respected.
It is a software package and is available as a trial download from
http://www.ddisoftware.com/qimage/demo.htm I use it when I want to
put multiple prints onto shared sheets of paper. For that it is very
good. It also excells in being able to convert Nef files to tiff or
whatever. I happen to have a Nikon D1 and I prefer to use Nikon
Capture 2 and then PhotoShop 7 for fine tuning. If I want to make a
large print i save my file in STN (GF format) and then open the
print in the size that I want. I find this workflow to be flexible.
I print B/W all sizes up to 16 x 20.
Also lets not forget the Poster option on epson 12xx series
printers. I have printed some great prints using this.
I too own several of Freds actions, But I still find the above
workflow better. For a start, once I have saved in STN format, it is
very quick to resize to a new size on opening the file. The qualitly
in the larger sizes is outstanding. I am sure that Fred's stair
interpolation is great, I just prefer the above.
regards

Barry
