Digital BW, The Print

One of my carts was not working 100%, which made it next to impossible
to get a decent print on my sample pack of Hahnemuhle German Etching
(although EAM continued to print with no problem...weird, huh?). Once
the cart was replaced I got great prints with this paper.

Can someone give me a good comparison between the characteristics of
Hahnemuhle German Etching and PhotoRag? Do they both exhibit the same
density of black? Is it simply the paper textures that are different?
