I've really only printed with the Piezo driver, save a few errant prints with the Epson driver, and I was aware that people had said that the dMax of the Piezo driver wasn't up to that of the Epson driver...but I never thought about why/how that could be. It would be nice to know why driver writers believe it's the right thing to do. I'd believe they'd want to maximize the density range as much as possible. You can't "limit" the low end. The image is already compressed to fit into the ink's density range...and we all "complain" about dMax as an issue with these inkjet printers...why limit the top end? Regards, Austin
