Digital BW, The Print

Hi all,

My CFS line clogged again! 

The last time this happened the system sat unused for about 6 
months and the BLACK line was dried completely. I replaced the 
CFS and installed MIS VM inks. I figured it was a fluke or that 
sitting for 6 months was to long. Last night I went to do some 
printing and couldn't get a good head check pattern, no black at 
all. After all the cleaning tricks still no pattern. So I checked the 
lines and the BLACK line was clogged again! This time it sat 
unused for only 2 weeks. After I removed the system and flushed 
the line with a syring, sucked ink back into the line and 
reinstalled it, I got a perfect head pattern.

Is this normal? A clogged line after 2 weeks seems excessive to 
me. Anyone else have this problem and what are you doing to 
avoid it? (the obvious solution is to not let it sit unused for very 
long) Thanks for any insight.
