I realize that this was partly said in jest...but...the key here is that Epson does not own Colorbyte...and hopefully won't. One of the beauties of Imageprint...and a real mission of Imageprint...at least as expressed by Colorbyte's president, is to provide a hardware and ink independent product. At present, I can use the driver with my 1270, 1280 and 7000 with any of a variety of different ink sets. Imageprint supports a huge number of printers including Roland and Iris as well as Epson. There is even talk of them supporting 3rd party color ink sets on older epson printers. If they were bought by Epson...all of this would end...and they would be...the people who build epson's driver...not a happy thing in my book. Robert
