Alex, As was posted earlier, with the Epson inks the metamerism was very bad and the B&W prints generally not acceptable to people. I have seen mono-ink prints for a 2000P that are very nice. Also one or two people tried MIS-VM inks in the 2000P and there is reason to believe that due to the difference in droplet size that it might be well suited for use with the grayscale pigment inks. The problem was that no one was willing to fine tune the RGB separation curves. So if you went that route then you would have to do your own curves. Image Print supports the 2000P for color work so I would think that they could also do grayscale profiles as well which would be another route to go.
