I misunderstood the meaning of the word "line" I think, or something...yes the head config is out of the loop then. Seems funny and you bring up the question of whether the tubing has been attacked by the ink for too long and so is more permeable than before, or if the ink has just evaporated through the tubing and is now sludgy. Or perhaps just old after six months. The We-Ink folks once told me that they thought pig ink goes bad after six- twelve months, but they may have been trying to sell me an alternate product<g>.
