Actually EAM is very good at its price point although its archivability is probably overstated. It's surprisingly very white (relative to the yellowish cast of the Photo Glossy which is mediocre for B and W Digital) and the Epson inks print very decently (but still not rich enough blacks) on it with my C80. Although EAM is very cheap to print out. It doesn't use up the inks as much as the horrific Photo Glossy and it is rather durable as a print. I have samples of the Photo Rag and it's fabulous. It's whiter than EAM in my opinion (by a slight margin) but it's more expensive. I suspect that it's from much cleaner stock than the Hahnemuhe version but you pay for it in terms of number of sheets. It's worth for those special prints! :) Alfie > > PR = Photo Rag > > EAM = Epson Archival Matte > > which supposedly is being replaced by EEM = Epson Enhanced Matte > > Best regards, > Richard > > mailto:richard@c...
