K2, With Paul's curve for the 1160 and VM inks you will be converting your grayscale files to sRGB before applying the curve you want to use. It is very important that the gamma of your grayscale working space match the gamma of the RGB printing space. So you need to use Gray Gamma 2.2 to keep things consistent. If your normal color working space is Adobe RGB you can give that a try. I have not noticed any significant difference on the 1280 between using sRGB and Adobe RGB for this workflow.
