I have a Mitsubishi with a trinitron tube, and I have always used 1.8
gamma. If I used 2.2 I'd have to reprofile everything, no?

What would be the advantage to using 2.2?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
