Re: [Digital BW] Clogged? Epson 1280 and sick of BAD MIS cartridges!

2002-10-02 by Luke Granfield

I had the same experience with the MIS 1280 VM cartridges. I think selling
poorly made products is a waste of everybody's time. No matter how nice the
MIS people are, they are still wasting my time by selling me poorly
manufactured products. Can we really trust the quality of any of their
products if they are willing to sell such shoddily made cartridges? How
come people don't jump on these third party people the way they do if Epson
makes a blunder? They should stop selling the cartridges until they get it
right.

I finally switched to the Epson 2200 with Ultrachromes and while the b&w
prints out of the box really aren't perfectly neutral (unless they get the
right light :)), I'm hoping to get closer with ImagePrint and profiles. The
toned prints and color prints are gorgeous and really an amazing achievement
for Epson.
