Tony, The procedures differ depending upon the model printer you have. Since you have and Epson I don't believe any glue guns are required for any model and I recommend you use virgin cartridges on each fill so you don't have to worry about things like sucking old ink out of used cartridges. Filling cartridges is a bit of a pain and not something I would like to do routinely but it is handy when you want to try new things.
