Digital BW, The Print

Mark, I don't know why you are getting flat midtones. Something isn't
right though. There's so many reasons that it could be I don't know how
you'd track it down. Possibly a very small leak in one of the cartridges
making 2 inks practically the same color comes to mind. You might try
sending a scan to Paul Roark and ask him what he thinks. I always print
in RGB using one of his curves. I've had lots of problems, but not that
one. I did have the darkest 3 patches print nearly identical once, and
paul tweaked the curve a little and it went away.
