When I did this, putting the CIS cartridges back in was like installing a new stubborn quad cartridge. It took multiple cleanings and 3 purge prints to get everything firing but some ink was coming through right away. When I took the CIS cartridges out I set them up above on some paper towel and some the ink ran down the lines and back into the bottles but when I started up the ink was pulled right back up into the lines. Make sure the cartridge socket is clean and that the cartridges are fully seating. You can also try blowing on the vent lines on the CIS bottles to gently pressurize the system and help the ink through. Other suggestion would be to pop in some Epson carts and make sure they are firing to verify the printer is working okay. Maybe print a purge page or two with the Epson inks. Martin >
