"Photo Rag has to be tweaked a bit differently than the other 2 papers." Jerry, could you elaborate on this a little bit? I am using the Photo Rag copy from Media Street and I would love to get the deeper blacks from the generations inks. I was wondering how you go about "tweaking" it. I also use mostly the warm Tyler curves, would this still work OK or should I use Paul's curves for this process? Thanks. Never tried the soft white. I use his curves as is for EAM paper. Then for Eclipse, I darken the image on screen by 15 percent in the Levels Dialogue box. Just take down the middle slider to 85. (assuming it's 100 when you open the dialogue box). This is with the Enhanced K Generations in use with the MIS VM inkset. The VM black is not all that black, and you will find a nice deepening of the black with the enhanced K. It's nice on the Eclipse satine paper, but nicer on EAM and photo rag. Photo Rag has to be tweaked a bit differently than the other 2 papers. jerry k2_chittin wrote: > > I finally had a chance to try out MIS VM this weekend.
