Digital BW, The Print

I am most happy with the results I have obtained with the first few
8x10s printed this morning. I printed the Piezo test chart on EAM,
scanned it with an old HP 4C and sampled the density steps after a
Gaussian blurr to blend the paper texture variance. The curve is
smooth and correct within a few percent.
I am still using the black Epson ink, and there is a small drop in
density at the 80% point and above, but other than that, it is just
seems fine without any correction curves.

I did swap the Y and PMe inks as I felt the yellow ink was too dark.

 I had fully intended to mothball this 2KP in the closet and purchase
a 1280. I am impressed with these results....
