Can't say how it does with black and white (but then, the question didn't ask about that), but I happened yesterday to see the same image printed on a 1280 and a 2200, on Epson Watercolor paper. The image, a macro shot of some flowers, was overall slightly slightly flatter on the 2200 than on the 1280 and the colors seemed richer. Both looked good, but I preferred the 2200, while the photographer preferred the 1280 (but most of his shots are pretty contrasty, in my opinion). He was also very pleased with the built-in cutter. Certainly put me one step closer to buying one. He also said he'd heard there is now or will soon be a black and white inkset for the 2200, though he didn't cite a source. More anon, David = = = Original message = = = ok. so it doesn't seem like there's anyone in this group who's using a 2200. but have you heard anything positive or negative other than the luminous landscape review? please share... thanks! rc ___________________________________________________________ Sent by ePrompter, the premier email notification software.
