Margaret We used the 2200 in a Digital Fine Print workshop 2 weeks ago and found that, compared to the 1280 color gamut, it was very close but still a little shy in the red, and of course, it was faster and more vivid than the 2000P. Our experience with grayscale was that it printed near neutral with the Photo Ink set, but we didn't have a Matte Set to test. The Photo Inks did best on the Premium Semigloss, and the neutral had a very, very, very slight green tinge in daylight, but seemed to be neutral under tungsten. With Archival (sic) Matte, the Photo Inks dumped the shadows. We also ran a comparison with the same images on the Piezography 3000 Selenium Tone Inks and found the black to be much richer and more 3-Dimensional with the Piezography. So far I am impressed with Epson's attempt to produce a good black, but am especially excited with the strides they have made with the 2200's color abilities. George
