Re: [Digital BW] New software for Minolta scanners

2002-09-16 by Bo Wrangborg

Hallo,

Go http://www.minolta.com
Then choose Europe on the map.

Then:
Choose Software (to the left)-->Choose Digital Photography (besides
the pics.)--> press German *or* U.K flag-->Choose Software (besides
the pics)--->Agree to license---> Choose the product!

I hope I didn't miss anything here?

Some users of Windows 2000 that changes from the old to the new one
have reported that some old "driver" is left and gets the same
results.
If you encounter this I suggest that you do a global search for all
routines mensiond in the end of the manual and delete them before
installing the new software!
Also follow the old rule not to have any program in the background
running when installing the new software.

Read the manual and you find the new things there. The quality of
scanns tells you the rest. They are indeed better than before.
The "gritti noise" or grain aliasing is almost gone! Hi mark here!
Colours are better etc and it's faaast!

Fiat Lux!
Bo Wrangborg
