Hallo, We don't know what is done - but both sharpnes and resolution are kept and are great! Colour better etc. Did they have an sharpening algorithm buid in earler, that could not be switched off combined with bad algorithms? I don't care - I do really like that soft/scanner now - better in many aspects over VueScan! Listening to MINOLTA the software is totaly rewritten though most of the human interface looks the some.
