Yes, I've been impressed with the speed of the 2200 with firewire as well.

On another note, has anybody had any problems with installing the drivers
for the 2200 on Windows XP? I get two printer icons installed and I have to
manually assign the port of one of them to the firewire port.

Also, does anybody's 2200 make a printer head-clanking sound, or is there
pretty much a continuous pitch/level of sound to your printers? A call to
Epson is on my list to do, but first I have to finish some paying jobs on
the 2200.
