Results are really poor on other 3rd party papers. I would offer another opinion. (Wasn't that diplomatic?). I have found that the Ultrachromes work VERY well with EAM, yes, but also with PhotoRag and BrightCube Eclipse Satine (which is gone now). Even the canned profile of EAM works great. All of these papers are, of course, for use with the matte black ink. For glossy or semi, use the PhotoBlack, and try Luster Epson. Many people report nice results with that, but I can't speak first-hand; I only use matteblack and matte papers. For critical work, to avoid color crossover, a custom profile should be made. There has also been some talk this week about a discovery that NO COLOR ADJUSTMENT does not lay down the ink in such a linear matter, and that some people are discovering that PHOTO REALISTIC in the Epson driver is more linear. This of course, renders all your profiles unusable, and you've gotta start from scratch, but I found that interesting. I have not verified this myself. (Secretly, the concept of this seems odd to me; I would not want two different things fighting each other, a profile and PhotoRealistic; NCA seems to turn off everything, and just let the profile do it's thing).
