Therefore, this is one instance where buying cleaning carts (MIS, inkjetmall, etc) is mandatory. Some cleaning carts have a trace of ink in them so you can see if nozzles clear as you use them, others do not have any ink in them and you can't tell. After the cleaning carts, depending on the ink you really want to go to, you can just switch over directly or optionally install Epson original carts to further clear up the printer (Epson ink has a nice solvent in it). Piezotone inks may require that you go directly from cleaning carts to PT ink, I don't know... Jim H.
