Digital BW, The Print

I read on a post that MIS FS-N doesn't do well on Somerset 
Velvet.  Does that go for the Somerset Photo Enhanced as well?  
I have printed a bit on the Somerset and it looked a bit blotchy in 
sections.  Is that what the person was referring to?  I like that I 
don't see any corduroy banding on the Somerset as I do on EAM, 
but I do really like the detail, bright white and smooth tones of the 
EAM.  Are there any other good options to try out?  Thanks!
