You only need a profile for color inksets. Try all the different media settings to see which gives you the best blacks. Backlight film will give you the deepest black you can get, but posterizes on some images, not on others. Give it a try. Inkjet printing has one fault that is very hard to overcome. It just doesn't deliver deep blacks like the darkroom papers do. Now if you were to use small gamut inks on glossy paper, you could get superb blacks, but only on glossy paper. Not for me.
