Digital BW, The Print

Since this subject was discussed earlier, I thought it might be of interest
to the group.

David Littleboy, who I believe lives in Japan, posted this to the MF
newsgroup list:

"The new Epson GT-9800F scanner appears to be out in Japan: although I
haven't seen one in a store (since I haven't looked), there's a full page ad
in this month's regular photo rags and a review in a new-this-month monthly
digital rag. Said new rag has samples on the included CD, but the image has
an insanely narrow DOF, so it's hard to see what the scanner's doing and
what the camera's doing. The test chart image in the article makes it look
noticeably better than a 2400 dpi Canon flatbed, though."
