Digital BW, The Print

To anyone who knows,
My 1160 won't detect the  black cartridge position. I have been using MIS-VM for about a year with virtually no problems. Had a bad nozzle check which doesn't happen too often and it didn't change after a couple of cleanings. I eventually tried an Epson cartridge which didn't work. It was one I used once before, plugged it and retaped it. I tried a few other things which were futile and embarrassing so I won't go into it. MIS, who has been helpful when needed is sending me a new cartridge for the CFS and an after market Epson cartridge. The red light(black) stays on and then up pops the cannot detect cartridge message. I have a feeling that the new cartridges won't be detected either. I was easy to detect after being covered with black pig as was my monitor, mouse etc. You may let your imagination run free at my expense and laugh out loud if you wish. I would have liked to see what I looked like. What a schmuck I am. Yes, my face also--and my favorite hooded sweatshirt which is the rob the 7/11 type. Anyone have any similar experience? I will call Epson tomorrow(Oct. 21). Strange, I bought this thing Oct. 22 last year. Suggestions appreciated. I should receive the new cartridges in a couple of days.
