Hi Cleavis,

Just ask away here or you can email me in private tived@...

I will do my best to answer your questions

Bare in mind that you want to be able to upgrade and that some or most of
the parts are carried on to the next upgrade. There are some things that you
just can't keep when you upgrade, it is always good to be able to trade or
sell.

The system I described has been very stable for me - it is my 3rd in the
last 2 mth (lucky to have a good friend in the biz, so i can try before I
buy - well sort off!)

I am using winXP Pro and it seems very good for what I do - I did go back to
win2k but quickly reinstalled XP - I like it alot, all execpt the networking
it seem a little different, so I may have to pull the manual on this one :-)

So let the fun begin

best regards

Henrik

Well, I would like to thank Gannet for asking and Henrik for the
considered answer. At least with an answer like that I could print
it out and start the conversation with a builder...otherwise I'm
pretty much foot in mouth without knowing what to ask for or get
given what I don't need.

It'll be a while before I get anything - will have to ask for an
update then ;-)

Cleavis
