Digital BW, The Print

I have a 2000P which serves my color printing needs but, as I'm sure 
you all know, sucks big time for b&w.  So I'm going to buy a second 
printer.  I'd appreciate your input re the economics of this.

With the rebate the 1280's are down in price and I'm thinking of 
getting one to use with the MIS inks to print b&w only. But I'm 
wondering if it would be worth the extra $300 or so to get a 2200.  
If I did that I would convert the 2000P to b&w.

What would you do in a situation like this?
