Lyson small gamut inks on glossy papers absolutely equal the d max of a
silver print. I tried it. It works. But I really do not want to sell or
print glossy prints. They look tacky and cheap to me.

Jerry

I saw an example of the original neutral dye inks on watercolor paper
many years ago that had a fabulous black. But that was the era of large
dots showing up when printing on the 800 and 3000 printers, so never
pursued that route. With the 1280 printer, I was wondering what they
would be like?
