Yes, there's only one system on my main disk > > - Go to Startup Disk under Control Panels in the Apple Menu; you > should have four options, which makes it really important to > identify and choose your principal disk for startup. This is the problem. It is telling me that one of my drives has 9.2.2 on it, but THAT drive has NEVER had system 9.2.2 on it. It is my BOOT disk that had that system on it, and all by itself the computer changed it to 9.2.1. > > - Unless you have an awfully good reason for this setup, Having > a System Folder on *each* of your HDs is a recipe for confusion, > not to mention overkill. Yes, but if everything went wrong on my main drive, it would be awful nice to have a bootable working backup drive. > - Photoshop 5 and 6 (not sure about 7, even though I have a > yet-to-be-used copy of that someplace) has more than one > plug-in folder (my choice is the Import/Export subfolder inside > the "For Photoshop Only" folder) for the benefit of both > Photoshop and ImageReady. I've never had my plugins in that folder. They've always been in the main plugins folder. Jerry
