Tim,

If you don't mind my asking, who is offering the 2 year replacement
deal? I've never heard of that before.

Lloyd

Subject: [Digital BW] 2200 vs 1280

I have a 1280 which I plan to dedicate exclusively to b/w using CIS.

I plan to get another printer today to dedicate to color also using
CIS.

question is should i get another 1280 which I can get today for $399
after rebate with a replacement guarantee to trade it in in two years
for a new model (if they have one) or just a new 1280 OR should I get
the 2200 at $799 or whatever it is.

Curious as to your thoughts. p.s. I need to do this today as the
rebate ends on the 1280 and I found an available 2200. : )

thanks, Tim
