Hello Tim, > Is anyone here familiar with the book "Photoshop 7.0 for > Photographers" by Martin Evening? > > Has it proved to be more valuable, interesting, or easier to > understand than the other books out there? Does it really speak more > to photographers than the other books? Just curious. I have the 6.0 version and it is excellent. I can't compare it to other books, but it is truly aimed at the photographer and I doubt that anyone here would find it a poor investment. I use it as a reference book, to look up specific things, rather than a front-to-back tutorial. It's not a "dummies" type book and I'm a relative beginner, but I find it very helpful. A lot of the material is for color work of course. The quality of the printing and illustrations is top notch. I have no hesitation in recommending it. Regards, - cj
