Digital BW, The Print

I just ordered a 7600 and asked the dealer where I ordered the printer if I could use the larger 220ml carts meant for the 9600 in it.  He said that I couldn't.  I just came accross a post on inkjetart website, with FAQ, that states you CAN use either the 110ml or the 220ml carts on the 7600 nad in fact the printer will know that the larger cart is being used and monitor the consumption accordingly.  They say Epson doesn't reccommend this because they feel that the machine,7600, is unbalanced with the larger carts, if not used on the Epson stand, and could fall over and hurt someone.
I'd love to use the larger carts for the savings.  
Have any 7600 users used the 220ml carts?
