FWIW, I use Vuescan with a Sprintscan and a Umax flatbed. I also have Insight and Silverfast installed for the Polaroid and Magicscan/Binuscan for the Umax. Vuescan doesn't conflict with any of these. I'm not sure why you have to uninstall nikonscan to use Vuescan. To use Vuescan with ,my Nikon Scanner you need to remove the Nikon software. I suspect that there is a similar conflict with other scanner software. Bill Agee --
