Digital BW, The Print

I have a question concerning VUEscan. I've been through every panel in
the advanced mode, but I can't find a thing on adjusting levels or
curves. Also, the highest resolution I can scan at for the Agfa T2500 is
1250 DPI.  That isn't good enough for 6x6 films, I need the full 2500
DPI.  Am I missing something, or doesn't vuescan support higher DPI or
levels or curves? Also, VUEscan runs directly from its folder on the
desktop. SHouldn't it actually be installed in the system folder? There
is no installation program to do this.
