 It stands for Continuous Ink(ing) System.  The usually 4 oz  bottles of ink
can be mated with a cartridge system replacing the standard EPSON cartridges
allowing for printing without having to replace the cartridges, instead the
bottles are filled when empty. Try http://inksupply.com,
