Digital BW, The Print

It is only "so much better" because some other scanner software is so 
bad.  Frankly, with my EPSON Perfection 2450 dummy software I get 
better starting point scans from the scanner than from Vuescan, but 
with my Dual Scan II (who's software really sucks) I only get good 
scans when I use Vuescan.  Vuescan does it's job pretty well...
