Strange. My $100 rebate for my new 1280 arrived in about 20 days. And, it came in an envelope that looked like a check and had Epson for a return address. My luck with rebates is usually dismal but not this time. Since I throw away so much junk mail without opening it, I've probably thrown away other rebates without knowing. I have have to agree with the other posts about Epson's efforts to force us to buy their carts. That has an upside however. 99% of the people buy Epson carts and thus subsidize us getting cheap printers while using 3rd party inks. I can live with that.
