I saw this paper for the first time on Tom Jow's December Exchange print of Death Valley sand dunes (beautiful print Tom!). I was impressed with how bright white the paper is, especially compared with the EAM I've been using. I really noticed the off-white, yellowishness of the EAM when comparing some of my EAM prints with with Tom's print. I checked out the JetPrintPhoto website and was able to find a box of their matte photo paper here in Anchorage today They call it Graphic Image Paper, Matte Finish, 50 sheets for $9.99, which is a real bargain. So I came home and printed 6 different images on the JetPrint matte paper which I've compared with the same images printed on EAM. What a difference! I've been printing with MIS FS inks on EAM for the past few months and thought the warmish brown tone was characteristic of the inks, but they look much more neutral on the bright white JetPrint Photo paper. I like it. My question for the List is: does anyone know much about the characteristics of this paper, specifically related to longevity, fading, flaking, etc? It's a nice alternative to Epson heavyweight matter or EAM/EEM and it's very reasonably priced ($0.20 a sheet). If it has archival characteristics in the same range as the standard Epson heavyweight matte, I'd be very happy to continue using it. Gary Benson Eagle River, Alaska
