Digital BW, The Print

I have been filling virgin carts from MIS with FS-N and have run out of 
the little rubber balls that are placed in the hole after the vacuum 
fill procedure.  Are the balls necessary?  Can tape be used as a 
substitute until FedEx finds my house?
